black fruits, gravel, hint of baking chocolate. firm tannins, drying finish. great structure, fruit pushed towards the back but it was balanced. not my usual mid week pick, but I really enjoyed this cabernet from Santa Barbara. would it be accurate to describe this as Bordeaux like, w/o the funk?
One hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate cake, and subtle raw coconut. Dry, silty, plush, nearly full bodied palate. Full tannins on the medium long+ finish.
This is a great QPR. It’s built for early drinking and as good as the ‘18. I doubt it will get much better, but it’s very enjoyable now (and probably for another couple of years).

I was not a fan, but others in the group enjoyed it. A bit lacking in spice or flavor profile. NO distinctive aroma, slight black currant, maybe some dates overtones

Cab blend from Santa Barbara. Quality fruit. Black and red fruits, medium in body, touch of oak spice. Easy drinker
