A collaboration Riesling between Jeffrey Grosset and the Hill Smith family of Pewsey Vale was never going to be average was it? Sumptuous bouquet of lime, lychee, rose, coriander seed and wax amongst other complex notes wafts up from the glass. The palate is typically racy but displays a rich texture, pure citrus fruit definition and a good finish. Not quite as bone dry as some Eden / Clare Valley bottlings but not to its detriment. Good finish and still youthful. An excellent Australian Riesling and worth following for a number of years.
