  Light greenish yellow color. Gentle and clean nose consisting of peach, pear, crisp green apple, grapefruit, anise and lily (comes exactly in this order in the mouth, a beautiful transition). Acidity is very mild/gentle on the surface but solid at the core (comes with delay), contributing to “textural” pleasures - the attack is waxy and soft like ripe peach, gains mild bitterness and buttery texture like pear in the middle, and then returns to oily smoothness in the aftertaste, consistency with soothing touch of peach fuzz on surface. Nose (back nose) intensifies at the finish, with massive chalk, mild lily, and subtle hint of honey. Overall, not a crowd pleaser, but excellent focus and subtlety, very precise and detailed. 90 for now, and I see potential to gain further complexity with age. Went unexpectedly well with Chinese handmade dumplings (shrimp/pork/chive). 90-91.
