Light ruby, clean and precise. No decant. Very enjoyable with pasta alla norma. Notes of cherry, red berries, roses, mocca, herbs, new leather and tea. Nicely balanced and well structured

Pretty roses and cherry with red currant and some herbs to it. Palate is a similar mix of bright red fruit, a tinge of sweetness and nice structure sitting alongside to give it some definition. Well balanced and very nice value for money.

This has soul. A “baby Barolo” with the classic tar and cherry but this has another energy entirely. Fogs and wisps of anise, orange peel, forest and leather swirl through this and change as the wine airs.
Garlic port tenderloin and toasted zucchini.

This reminds me a lot of the Tartufaia Barolo, especially now that the bottle has rested a couple of years since release. It has a raspberry and roses, rosehips and licorice - with a bit of a bouquet of "amaro" herbs and an ending of dried orange peel. It has this pleasant combination of good structure to be laid down further, but also the fruit and freshness to be drunk directly from the release and all the way there.

Nice easy-going nebbiolo, bang in the middle of its drinking window. Drink now and in the next three years.
