  Deep purple in the glass with a small, pink rim. Medium extraction.
  Medium plus intense aromas of ripe blackberry, black currant, some graphite (pyrazine) and cedar.
  
  Mouthfeel is dry, medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity and medium plus tannin. Tannins are silty and light on the attack.
  
  Flavors follow the nose, with a medium plus length finish of boysenberry, black currant and cedar.
