A very different wine. An atypical rose. Starts small - then grows. The acidic structure makes for an excellent palette cleanser - so works well with fatty foods or between courses. Think cleansing sorbet. Beautiful super light blush, smooth light mouthfeel and a grapefruit/dried apricot element with something else we can't quite nail. I say SweetTarts. A quirky wine that may be meant to drink upon release(?) 14.2%

Very enjoyable on a sunny SoCal winter day. Pretty color in the glass. Poured and tasted at cellar temperature, didn't give much aroma and tastes spicy and balanced. The barest hint of off-dryness, so I'm thinking it's a good food match. A little heat on the lengthy finish. Held up very well on the second day.

Light-bodied and moderately acidic with cherry and a citrus element that surprised me. Crisp and refreshing though with hint of alcohol.

Such a unique wine. Woody, carmelly joy! Enjoy this wine with a blue cheese or even chips and salsa. Love it!
