Definitely glad I cellared this for the better part of a year. When I tasted it in 2010, it was a little too grapefruit-y and Sauvignon Blanc-y than I normally like in a rose. After some cellar time, though, that mellowed into some nice balanced citrus notes, as well as some juicy watermelon rind flavors. Great drinking for a hot night.

Definitely a different wine. A little like a Sauvignon Blanc but more minerality and less citus. Quite dry with tastes of granite and slate over typical Pinot Noir flavors. Would be good sipping on a pleasant summer evening with fresh green grapes and strawberries.

A bit to dry and tart on the finish for my taste, though I thought it started well.

Surprisingly dry. Was nice on a 100 degree day.
