  • Really nice with fragrant noise and more depth/finish than the 2020 PGC reserve and 2018 Eyrie estate we opened to compare. Best of the night.

  • Nose: The nose is elegant and nuanced with dark red cherries, mushrooms, raspberries, violets, savory spices, mineral notes, and roses. There is very good depth here with an open-knit take and savory backdrop.

Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with crisp, Medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. The structure is refined and more for framing with dark red cherries, raspberries, mushrooms, violets, savory spices, and mineral notes.

Overall: This is a lovely Pinot from a producer that is new to me. There is a lot of elegance and poise with understated tones across the nose and palate. I don't know what the lifespan will be ahead of it as it feels like there is resolution to the structure right now, but the fruit has some lovely vibrancy that can easily evolve.
