  Joy's 44th (Our house): Magnum. A bit young and (purple) fruit-forward for my preference, but had lovely purity and structure. Extremely food-friendly and likely to be very tempting indeed with another 2-3 years on it.

  Decanted half hour. Rich purple color w/red fruit forward aroma. Flavor of nice soft round plums & cherry w/balanced legs. Finish of soft acidity & light oak. Went nicety with Meatballs in Parmesan broth

  I haven't had an 88 that I've enjoyed as much in quite a long time! Earthy dark cherries and Welches Concord grape juice, grit and gravel on the finish. Big rustic mouthful!! Even better day two! Great QPR.
