Ton of dark fruit, spice, cinnamon and violet on the nose. More of the same on the palate, deep rich profile, herbaceous, blueberry, cocoa finish, long finish with crushed stone.

Aromas of blue and black berries, this deep and rich wine layers chocolate then tobacco notes underneath the ripe berries and finishes long. Well structured and well balanced, this could keep for another few years. It complemented our dinner of brisket, cowboy beans, and grilled radicchio perfectly. It was a night that shall be long remembered for the food, family, and friends.

Best Lagrien from TJames yet and as good as the best from Northern Italy: Dark purple, opaque color. Nose is Intense and sleek beam of black berry, pencil lead, some citrus blossoms, lead and smoke. Mouthfeel is luxuriously silky with slik tannins. Perfect balance, not flabby nor acidic but certainly lively and refreshing at each sip. Flavor is black berry, some blue, riverstone and mineral. Finishes very long. Great now, probably better in late 2022 to 2023

Clay and blueberry nose; tart inky flavor with raspberry finish. Paired very well with spicy marinara.
Sue: inky and jammy, dark tart cherry, darker than I remember.
