  • From 75cl, good cork, decanted 30 minutes. Despite serving in Zalto Burgundy glasses this just smelt—vaguely, indefinably—of soft, pure red wine. Medium-bodied, low acid, unbelievably plush and smooth, very pure red fruit—red plum/ripe damson? The end has some interesting retronasal caramel aromatics, and more intense fruit concentration tingling on the tongue than you'd believe possible given the light, ephemeral entry. The last drops are definitely the best. Wait and see. In 10-20 years this should still be in great form, and might just turn out to be a great wine. 90P(??)
