dark as night, purple rim. on the nose brambly plums with herbal notes, no new oak i can smell. on the palate the wine has high acidity, a fleshy midpalate, some firm grape tannins, moderate alcohol. balanced wine with ok length, good intesnity, ok complexity. not a ton of finesse here and a somewhat rustic texture. nice montepulciano in a simple and tanky style. drink now.

Notes of ground up pencil, very subtle Graham cracker, dry earth. Palate is ripe with a little brighter fruit on entry before giving way to lots of dark berries and plums. Ripe without feeling overdone at all, higher acidity gives it some freshness on the palate. Good stuff.

First time sampling wine from the Marche region of Italy. Nice surprise in this bottle. Well balanced tannins and acid give it a solid structure. Palatte was full of dark, stone fruit. Lots of plum. Good mouth feel and lasting finish.

Blackberry, plum, pomegranate, bramble, cinnamon. Both tart and sweet with an oily mouth feel. Curious how this ages.

Very solid with firm acidity and flavorful red berry notes. Over time the palate became a bit too sweet for me.
