  A very nice merlot ... pours dark with lots of fruit on the nose and palate without being a bomb. It has a very nice balance and is coming into it's own. It went very well with the grilled garlic and rosemary pork tenderloin.

  My impression is that I opened this bottle too soon (no decanting). I have assigned a score of 89, based partially on potential. I will see how it tastes tomorrow night.--I returned to this bottle two nights later. It had been vacumed sealed in the interim. The bottlle was then drinking at an 89 level. I would recommend decanting or holding a little longer.

A lot better food wine then the Pax Syrah we had yesterday at Tre Vingne.
