A novel Monastrell based red blend wine, with Grenache & Syrah grapes, that was rich and bold, was medium to full bodied, was nicely structured with good acidity and integrated tannins, and had an overall nice finish. Thoroughly enjoyed drinking this gem from the Alicante Region in Spain, and believe the 2017 "Mira" has the potential to be even better with additional 2-3 year cellaring.

stewed plums, a bit boozy...even 5+ hours in, it wasn't getting much better
