This has integrated and improved over the past five months. Still needs another 6-12 months, but it’s going to be good. Spicy, black-fruited, not too heavy. 90+

Big, fruit-forward style, very reminiscent of Ribera del Duero. Primary black and purple fruits, toasted espresso, mocha. Oak is dominating at the moment, but a couple hours in the decanter gradually coaxes out the acidity and tannins hiding underneath. Eventually picks up some loam and tobacco notes. Needs a little time (12 months?) to come together.
