A definite step up from the typical grocery store Chardonnay. Available for $17 at Total Wine. Medium to full bodied with a nice balance of richness and acidity. Will be buying more for near term enjoyment .

Very inviting on the nose with citrus, flowers, vanilla and just a hint of cream. Almost full malo and some sur lie aging leaves this full-bodied and creamy with a moderate amount of butter. That isn’t usually my preferred style, but the acid in this is rippingly high and keeps it moving on the palate. There’s a lovely spicy and nutty thing going on at the end.

Nose of orange citrus, vanilla and oak. Tastes of tangerine oil, golden apple, and pineapple. Some toasty notes. Creamy texture. Just medium acidity. Good value.

A very well balanced Sonoma County Chardonnay. I guess they used all the new oak on the Alexander bottling , but I’m ok with that . Pure flavors of medium bodied gala apple, Asian pear, with a medium ripe pineapple , a touch of American oak and probably 1/2 malolatic , so more fruit than butter. A bit bitter and short in the finish but a solid block of varietal fruit with balance with oak. Serviceable it just won’t want you to put on a tuxedo or impress your date.

A nice middle of the road Chardonnay. Tasted better at my ridiculous close out price. $5!
