  Value $18 Sonoma 2021 Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay. Sharp mid-gold, viscous (14.5 alc.); toasty, tropical, stone fruit, vanilla nose; mid acids; good depth; rounder style; long semi-crisp finish. w/grilled chicken. 16/90.

  A little bit lighter style. The restrained acidity is swapped for the fruit that sings beautifully. Probably better as a great quaffer than paired with food, although might pair well with less hearty food. Great choice at this price point.

  Nice translucent straw color. Almond and citrus on the nose. Nice and smooth, well balanced. Citrus, lemon, honey and slightly tart on the palate. Nice, smooth tart finish.
