Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): For a wine that I basically don’t drink 355 days a year we do seem to find a way to get quite a bit in in the 10 days we’re are Piemonte. And you understand the wine a lot more in that context because at the end of a big meal with pasta and meat and everything else a just lightly sweet, low alcohol, with bubbles drink is so refreshing and perfect. This is a nice version of it as well. Perhaps liked a bit better than the Saracco that we often get.

Return to Piemonte!; 11/25/2021-12/4/2021 (Castello di Sinio, Alba, other various locations): Gotta love ending a meal with moscato. It’s all freshness and lightly sweet and just generally very enjoyable. Can understand why this wine is so popular in this area - it is the perfect way to end the meal.
