A nice a bit rustic lightly oaked forest fruited entry level wine for Antinori. 13.5%. Drink now or lay down a couple of years. Improves with one hr's aeration. Good QPR at under 10 Euros.

Piedmont vs Tuscany (Annandale Cellars, Annandale): Medium minus intensity aromas of cherry, sweet spice, slight herbaceous underpin. Juicy tends to medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of drying coarse, grippy tannins. Muted fruit, plenty of structure. Okay as an entry level wine.

Decent inexpensive moderate red. Worth the price.

Juicy Sangiovese blend with leather and berry notes. Pairs well with dishes using tomato based sauces.
