Wow, this is some syrah! Loads of dark fruits and a gorgeous finish, smooth all the way through...I was given this on recommendation of The Black Wine Guy podcast, and he was super right (as always).
Final bottle of my original 3-pack. Had it in May and December of 2022 and liked it sliiiiiiightly better then, which is in line with my preference on Andremily Syrah. That is drink sooner than later...2-3 yrs post vintage. Smoother and less bombastic this time, but still fantastic. It's mellowed somewhat, especially a more subtle pepper aspect, but is still beautifully complex with dark liquer-like fruit. But never cough-syrupy. If you like your Syrah more intense, drink now. More subtle? Give it a year or two. This was AbFab! Love what Jim Binns is producing now. The Mourvedre is fantastic. Don't really like Grenache, but haven't had Jim's yet so need to try that next.
Still a young pup. But promises a lot of pleasure once it becomes more integrated. Right now it’s mostly a fruit compote with a touch of oak. But promises pleasure by the sip full in a few years. Drink 2025 to ????

Big wine both in body and alcohol, big extrication. But also well balanced. Complexity is there and a nice nose with some subtle elegance. Has a lot of potential. Made in the SQN style.

A slow start, but highly impressive on day two. I loved it then. Sweet spices. Decant. Decant. Decant.
