Pinot Noir at Moncur (Bistro Moncur, Sydney): Savoury, meaty with whole bunch less prevalent but still present, black hued fruit, savoury spice. Juicy, savoury, a little Vitter on the finish, black over red hued fruits, chalky tannins. Okay

Nose of earth, fennel seed, and saffron. Palate shows flavours of plum, kirsch, and Thai basil. Initially stalky and bitter, but seemed sweeter after being open for a few hours.
