2019 vintage, bottled April 21. Not sure what that counts for but presumably something.
Smell: not quite sure what we’re smelling: smells fruity and slightly sweet. On a re-sniff maybe cherries. Taste: first mouthful very pleasant, smooth. When we take some air in with the wine it hits the front and front-sides of the tongue. Definitely no afterburn (ie light on tannins?), still pleasant after the swallow. Bit of spice in the aftertaste.

Bottle 1341g. Moderately intense aromas of cherry, sweet spice, clay-earth. Dry, with elevated acidity. Moderate, smooth tannins mostly apparent on finish. Medium-bodied, 13°. Fruit and savory flavors combine on the palate, lasting into the somewhat grippy finish. A good dinner companion, not an attention-grabber. After a couple of hours, the wine opened up and the fruit got richer and more generous. Very nice.
