  Velvety dark cherries, blackberries and raspberries, a real sweetness to the ripe fruit. floral, mineral and earthy. A bit of a stem my herbal quality. Fruit is concentrated, but also a bit of a sour edge.

  This pours light purple in the glass. The nose is immediately complex and lifted showing plum, violets, cinnamon, chalky soil, cedar, and a touch of blood orange. The palate shows a pungent plummy entry and medium minus tannin and medium acid that has a nice blood orange tinge to it. The finish is modest in length but has a really pleasant profile. There is just a little alcohol that pokes out but the label indicates 13% which seems plausible. All in all I really enjoy this wine and this profile. It's certainly in the post-modern style showing tremendous fruit and a light sense of extraction.
