Immediately absolutely gorgeous nose, rich and deep with orchard fruit. Later more shy, but keep it cool. Tighter and more structured than a year ago, with citrus and a pretty long finish, but still the fruit is glorious. My wife feels its 94 points, but i would wait, if you want maturity.

My first time trying any wine from Jean-Louis Chavy, and I thought this was great! Salty, rich and bright -- drank it outside on a hot humid day and it really hit the spot, lovely acidity.

First rich nose with butter and a hint of citrus, later more shy, but a lot of orchard fruit. Rich and fat palate with exceptional fruit and a little firm on the long finish. This needs some time, while their Clavoillon is more accessible, but the style is the same. Champs Gain is also outstanding, but made in a more elegant style, probably because its higher on the slope. Really worth seeking out. 93-94+

New Release Burgundy Tasting (Chicago.wine - Glenview IL): Walk around tasting. Rich orchard fruit from start-to-finish that seems particularly lush at the beginning, then more firm in the middle, opening back up on a long, nearly opulent finish. Better from 2026.

Consistent with some of the notes below, although I didn’t experience the lushness/richness at the front end that others cited.
