I thought this was a lovely, nuanced barolo. Overall impression after three hour decant was delicate but with nice red fruit and fresh acidity that had it go well with food. Tannins still showed some youth and showed on the long finish. Plush mouthfeel and good complexity.
Took an hour to open up. Restrained dark fruits. Nice tannins. A little tart on the finish made it pair nicely with steak with gorgonzola, but made it a little too sharp on its own. Still will improve over the next few years I think.
