  PnP, consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, light-medium ruby core with slight edge clouding. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with aromas of ripe strawberry, raspberry, and chili pepper with floral notes - rose & violets - quite intoxicating. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium tannins are sneaky grippy, medium+ intensity, 14.5% abv is masked very well with developing flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and chili pepper and a medium+ finish.

  A wonderful expression of the Cabernet Franc grape showing perfectly ripe red fruit and spice character. Drinks well upon opening today, don't see this as a long ager but should drink well for 3-5 years yet.

  Consumed over 2 days (stored in Somm du Vin), note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby with clear edges. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, black olive, violets, and bell pepper. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium tannin, medium+ body, medium+ intensity, 14.5% abv with developing flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and bell pepper with a medium+ finish.

  Intensity: Excellent
  Complexity: Very good
  
  Overall, while not overly complex, this is an excellent example of pure Cabernet Franc. Still youthful, but drinkable upon opening. Can drink now with an hour or two of air, better in a year or two.

  Cranberry/blueberry nose. Cocoa chocolate on the pallet. Bigger wine with some chewiness. Strawberry on the pallet. Good to drink anytime.
