  Big improvement on the previous bottle, given plenty of air and enjoyed with food. Very deep ruby in colour, powerful on the nose with rich dark fruits. Super rich and dark on the palate, almost a bit more shiraz than he may. Spicy with brambles fruits and some earthy notes, a touch of cassis.and tart cherry. A bit of a meaty wine with tannins present but fairly smooth, it's definitely the heavyweight end of the fleurie spectrum. For me, whilst this is lovely now, this is one to keep, should age nicely and think it has potential to improve for some time.
  Day three and it's softened out and opened up into fresh strawberries and more perfumed floral notes. Still firm with the tannins on the finish, plenty of interest and potential here though.
