  • Agree with WIML on notes however additionally, nose of apricots as well and maybe an hint of tangerine. Excellent with Maryland crab cakes at brunch. Just enough dryness to cut the dairy in the yougurt used to make the crab cakes and stand up to the hot sauce acutrament. At the price point this is a must have wine. I thought the body while medium actually bordered on being more full bodied for a white. Will attempt to get more.

  • Off the list at Page One in Glen Cove, NY. Excellent wine. white fruit, apple and pear on the palate with a spicy back end. There is a meaty depty to this wine with no sweetness. A lot of complexity in the flavors. This is a white wine with stuffing. Originally served too cold and it had a bitter back of the palate. However, as it warmed and took on some air, it rfeally came into its own and contineud to improve throughout the dinner.

88 mean excellent. Let's all stop giving 90 points to wines we hate. Make the rating system meaningful. If it's got a fundamental flaw and you don't like it, give it a 77. This wine was excellent and that's what 88 menas.

  • Light golden color. Very pretty, if light, nose of cantaloupe, honeydew mellon, & pineapple. Similar flavors show on the initial attack. Nice creamy mouthfeel. But, this wine hollows-out quite a bit through the midpalate, and the finish is quite bland. Starts smart, then fizzles...[13% abv.; $18.00].
