Definitely a big step up from Ambra's entry-level Carmignanos. Dark cranberry in the glass. Nose and palate are of mature sangiovese, with the cabernet primarily fleshing out the mouthfeel and adding some structure. Medium+ body, dark red fruits, and a nice finish. This is drinking well now; probably best over the next 3-4 years.
