Juicy red berries with touches of savory and herbaceous funk and stony minerality. On the palate there's a bit of sweetness and decent balancing acidity, tasty, with some nice textural richness, but seems like if it was drier it might be more interesting; instead the palate doesn't live up to the nose and the wine comes across as a crowd pleaser when perhaps it could be more (it probably doesn't help to know how good the producer's Pinot Noirs can be).
