Cooked? This was stewed fruit all the way, not in a good way, like french onion soup. Don't remember the first time drinking this so will need a tiebreaker taste

A BIG wine, nose of raisins, smoke, almost port-like (in a good way). Not a dinner wine, since it would be best sipped or accompanied by a rich dessert like chocolate lava cake.

How the mighty has fallen. Age has not been kind to this wine. Tastes change, and that might explain part of my perception over the 5 year interval since my last taste. Still, the syrup and artificial boysenberry drown the barely noticeable muscular and balanced wine this once was. Should have drunk it 5 years ago.

This is one of the best Shiraz. A classic powerhouse. Has it all. Sip and enjoy.
