  Great value. Totally funky aroma on opening but dissipated in a few minutes, though even an hour later there was a distinct aroma. BUT, the wine was great, great blend and very approachable. Is ready to drink.

  Last of my '18s and the best of the three. Rocks funk has tamed but still some meatiness along with olive tapenade and saline aromas. The minerality and nicely balanced acidity along with stewed fruits makes this a fun and interesting wine to drink.

  This wine continues to impress and improve with age. Opened for two hours of air and enjoyed. Nose is bacon fat, earth, iodine. Taste is in your face bold and expressive with good balance of acidity.

  90 min decant; in a better place almost a year after my first bottle. Flavors of plum and currant, woodsmoke, some Rocks Funk, and bright citrus. The high acidity and tannins have slacked off some over the past year, and this was a good drink, particularly paired with lasagna. Drink now - 2028+.

  I just love this stuff. Still young and bright. Barnyard nose with black currant and straw. Taste is big and bold and sexy.
