Well, this is my first and only bottle of this, and I see some "over the hill" comments from a few years ago, but it is what it is I guess. 50/50 roussanne/marsanne blend. Rich golden color to this. Aromas of honey, almond, white flowers, white pepper, fresh herbs, banana, and passion fruit. Full body, medium(+) finish, medium acid, rounded texture, and flavors of honey, passion fruit, pineapple, saline, a bit of nuttiness, and light bitterness that helps to balance out some of the richness. Opened this to go with a lemony baked fish, but ended up drinking a more bright and steely white that was open in the fridge with the meal and enjoyed this much more afterward sans food. Definitely more of a rich, contemplative sipper IMO, and in that context, I enjoy it.

Drinking my last bottle a year after my last note. IMO this is definitely peaking. The aromas are distinctly nutty along with apples and a hint of citrus. The palate largely matches- nutty even with a hint of Nutella up front then some apples and lastly a hint of citrus. Light acidity & some decent minerality, just lacks the freshness right now I really enjoy in whites, though again I can see where many would enjoy this as is.

BrunelloBob nails it. Not for my palate, but well made wine that many will enjoy. This has definitely undergone malolactic fermentation along with a touch of oak, making it a nice round wine, full-bodied and smooth with melon/quince notes, almond, and flowers.

Beautiful Wife describes it as a "good $20 Cali chard".
(I know: Not Cali, Not chard...)
Not a style I appreciate, others will.
