Sea spray, salinity, lemon juice, ripe white peach, ripe melon on the nose. The palate adds some lees influence - autolytic yeast and fresh baked bread flavors; while keeping everything else from the nose. Finishes with a spicy bitter flavor - think of white pepper followed by some kind of bitterness. Great intensity of both flavors and aromas, the flavors are a touch more intense.
Medium + body, medium acid. This is not the most complex Falanghina around; but extremely enjoyable. Great with halibut tacos.

Funny, and maybe I didn't pay enough attention. Thought it was good Falanghina but didn't thrill me in any direction, although Villa Matilde usually takes me further afield.
