This an excellent match to a delicate fish dinner. The acidity was sprinkling lemon on my fish, and the fruit was present in the balanced wine. Really like this style of chard. Cheers!

Nose: Medium intensity. Primary aromas of unripe pear, fresh lemon, a kiss of honeydew, and the echo of peach. Secondary aromas are very difficult to discern, some bakers spice and vanilla shine through, though very lightly. Tertiary aromas are sparse at best, likely due to this wine's youth; hints of moss and wet stone make promises that this wine cannot deliver.
Palate: This is a dry wine with high acidity, which actually complements the low alcohol nicely. It has a medium body and a medium-to-strong flavor profile primarily composed of fresh lemon, fresh lime, tart green apple, and peach pit. There is an interesting secondary note of cedar that gracefully weaves its way across the palate, but it is very, almost too, subtle. The finish is long and rewarding.
Overall, I would say that this wine is good, verging on very good, but certainly not great. This wine can keep in a properly maintained cellar for at most another 7 years, but probably won't get much better with age.

A soft, slightly acidic petit Chablis with a bit of depth and texture. Acessible and likely a crowd pleaser. At $18+ from Garagiste, no complaints.
