  • 50 years of complete madness. And then this. Purchased in 22 from the retail monopoly’s order range, re-discovered during stocktaking, popped & poured (cork in excellent shape, the Durand doing a great job) on a lovely Saturday night in Copenhagen. And wow, what a knock-outer. So alive w fresh acidity & a multitude of ripe fruit. Dark golden-amber in the glass. Nose pops w raisins, figs, bruised apples, cinnamon, a bit of orange marmelade, honeysuckle. Viscous mouthfeel, vivid, fruity & fresh, closing spicy & long!
