  A decent wine but not great. At this price range and pedigree I expected a lot more. The nose was buttery orchard fruit. The palate was apple, lemon peel, butter with a touch of mint. The finish was moderate to long. My wife thought it was good hence the 90 rating. I do hope it was an off bottle as I have a bunch more in the cellar.

  One of the best of PH's chardonnays that I've tasted. Pale lemon color. Pronounced aromas of apple, blossoms, lemon, mango and maybe even pineapple. Some buttery pastry as a secondary aroma. High acidity, medium to high alcohol (higher than I expected…14.2% on the bottle), medium body. Pronounced flavors consistent with aromas. Long finish. Delicious!
