Similar to the last bottle 18 months ago. Super tight from the beginning, quite reduced, with high acid and a boatload of minerals. Opens over 4 hours to show yuzu and grapefruit, golden raisin and more tropical notes. Is very gg like - an almost painful wall of liquid rock and acid structure, but full of potential. probably needs 8-10 years to really show all of its cards.
Day 2, the structure has relaxed its grip, and allowed the fruit and more subtle floral aromatics to shine through the wall of granite. But what stands out most is the salinity - it's quite remarkable and mouthwatering.

Finished my last of the DL Wiley '20s. This remains a lovely, clean Riesling shocked full of acidity with lime and flinty minerals. Refer to early note for details. You just can't beat the quality (and price) in CA.

Pop and pour as an aperitif, very nice in its own.
