88 - Very Good popped and poured, and it was a solid wine right out the gate...strong acid and tannin for the first 30-60 min, but then really softened out and developed some sweet fruit and richness

A good daily drinker and decent QPR - not overly complex but offers a tasty palate of red and black fruits and a new world, vanilla-laced bouquet (which might cause some to wonder how they did it). Seemed to lose luster over the course of an evening and, although the heat is contained, seems to have more booze in it than I might prefer.

Sorry, did not have a chance to truly appreciate this one, as I had to run off right after we opened the bottle. The initial impression was strongly of cough syrup in both taste and nose, and I was very worried this was one of those over-extracted wines. Coming back to it over an hour later, most of the fruit is gone and the tannins remain. It's okay, but nothing to right home about. Would not buy again.

ligonberry , raisin, and date flavor. Great with vegetarian pizza since marries well with tomatoes.

Tastes like stewed prunes and oak. Not awful, just not to my liking.
