  • Nice color - clear with pale yellow and golden highlights. Really nice, complex nose. Seemed to get something different every time I gave it a sniffy sniff. Initially lemon and honeydew melon. Elements of some tropical fruit. Later on got some black licorice and even some pie crust elements. On the palate it was light bodied but very rich. Great acidity ran throughout. Got black licorice again. And of course the lemon. Aciidty was very fresh and the whole wine was well balanced.

  • Top of the line from the maconnais in my opinion. fresh and ripe, really well balanced, nice layers of fruit, almonds, and flowers. lovely stuff.

  • Competes with young Puligny and this is under $20. So rich and well balanced, such well deined flavors. Nose of lemon oil and stone fruit - white peach. Also vaguely saline. Broad ripe palate that echoes the nose. crystalline tension and good acisity give this lots of energy. very impressive.
