2005 AU BON CLIMAT LE BON CLIMAT PINOT NOIR- showing nicely with inviting aromas, ripe red fruit with tasty accents, mellow in the mouth and another fine Pinot from Jim that will stand the test of time and provide pleasures for many years; 05` was a fabulous vintage for ABC and other local wineries.

Great nose full of red licorice, orange peel and red fruits with a touch of black tea. The palate is similar, with more of a dark fruit tinge and increasing sweetness of fruit as it evolves in the decanter. Not too much earth, but a nice suggestion of savoriness that pulls the package together. The finish is fairly long, with a hint of tannin and nice acidity. A really nice domestic PN (in a non-pejorative sense) that is certainly worth the ~$30 price point.

Seems to be on the decline, but still drinkable. Delicate in flavor: Tart, sour cherries, and some tannins, with overripe fruit on the finish.
