Palate was just nice with loads of minerals, followed by emon, tart apples, more minerals and some herbs. Medium body with outstanding acids, and excellent concentration. Strikes a nice balance - dry but not austere. Nice lingering finish. This is nice now but I suspect that there's more complexity to come with some age. 92+

Flatiron Wine & spirits (San Francisco, Ca.): Pinot Meunier dominated the nose and taste tonight, nose of citrus and earth, same on the palate, medium body, tasty, simple, medium finish, $65.
Rather full flavored champagne. I got the half bottles as I was the only one drinking champagne, and very happy I did. Bread, yeast, pears and lemon zest on the nose. Very golden in color, a nice hue to look at. Definitely pinot-heavy and I like it.
