Didn’t like it at all, keeping the Grand Cru pedigree in mind. Paleish color, muted nose with hints of oak, base level stone fruit and green grass. A bit more volume and length on the palate, but still not up to GC standards. I guess the wine is overfined and overfiltered. Must be a winemaking fault.

Domaine Nathalie and Gilles Ferve (Fontenay-Pres-Chablis): Its 10.8 hectares facing south to south/west are bathed in sunshine a good part of the day. And when summer comes, they enjoy the last rays until late at night. On the surface, if the soils are mainly clay-limestone and brown in color, some plots are covered with whiter clays of thin thickness.
Les Preuses of Nathalie and Gilles in 2020 has a lot of potentials but currently in a hibernation stage. Some wax, grapefruit, heated vanilla seed. 89/90.

Dinner at Iki Ramen (Iki Ramen, Los Angeles CA): The nose is expressive and crystalline with fresh tones of ginger, sweet lemon peels, gun flint, pears, saline, apples, and white peaches. The Medium bodied feel is poised and shows off the expressiveness of the nose along with racy, high acidity. This is a lovely, young Chablis that does a great job showing well at this young stage while still having plenty of room to develop in the coming years.
