  • At this point the wine is quite warm. This is definitely a deeper, darker and more dense type of bourgogne out there. I would have liked a bit more freshness and vibrancy. Perhaps it will loose some of its "fat" in the following years? The tannins and acidity is there.
My tasting note is more or less the same as the other CT reviews.
Keep this for another 5 years before drinkning.

  • Duft ok rund og blød.
Smager fint. Ok vin skrev jeg.
Ok eftersmag. Mangler lidt frugt ift syre.
Var bedste vin på dagen ift Hautes, Rouge og Vosne.

  • - first bottle after buying some G. Noellat wines at a burgundy tasting.
    - Nose: jumping out of the glas with high intensitiy, more blue and black fruit aromas (blueberries, plums, elderberry) driven. It has somehow a layer of jam and vanilla, lacking a bit of freshness in my opinion.
    - Palate: Starting as well with an intense overflow of fruty aromas, in the mid-palate it is quiet artifical, especially you can feel that because this wine is missing some acidity. Tannins are well integrated but a bit drying. Concerning the finish it is medium plus, but the "drinking pleasuere" is missing a bit. I had quiet high expectations opening this bottle but it is a vintage with to much ripe and jammy fruit. The stilistic goes into the direction of Ghislaine Barthod with this mostly blue fruit core.

  • not decanted, pnp

really fruity (mostly blue fruit) and clear on the nose. it surprised me that this was already approachable at this young age. a bit one-dimensional, but this will most likely change over time. seemed a bit artificial to me.

on the palate lacking finesse and elegance, due to medium acidity and rather drying tannins. didn't like the style too much, had enough after 2 glasses, which is not a good sign. lacking drink flow...

will surely profit from a decant.
