Appearance is clear, medium+ intensity, ruby colour. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of earth and red fruits. On the palate, high acidity, medium tannins, full body, long finish. Flavours of sweet earthiness, red apples, cherries, and spice towards the finish. Elegant. Young, but nice.

Georges Noellat Tasting (pre-2010) (Crystal Wines, Singapore): Clear ruby. Definitely still very young. Pure and not overripe as some 09s can be. Not a terribly distinctive wine as this could be in a shut down phase now. Technically-wise you can find no faults here. I like that this was elegant and did not have overt oak influence. I'm quite impressed with this villages.

Georges Noellat Portfolio Tasting (Crystal Wines): 2009 is indeed a good vintage for Burgundy! Drinking well early too. Mild earthy nose. This was fresh and bright on the palate, with juicy red apples. Slight earthy undertone and a bit of spice. Just a lick of tannin on the long finish. My favourite wine of the tasting.

Ripe dark fruit, some earthiness and minerality, silky and balanced. A really good village wine. Ready now, but has some time ahead of it.
