  Viscous straw/golden color. Great aromatics evoke honey, honeysuckle, pears, pear tart and vanilla. Thick mouthfeel that pear and honeysuckle dominate. A little vanilla and "that classic marsanne bitterness" round it out. Served with a mildly spicy shredded tofu and shiitake stir-fry. Very Good to Excellent.

  Very reticent, waxy nose, opening only slightly with more air with a few vague hints of stone fruit. Medium bodied on the palate, much more open, getting pears, flowers and mineral, a touch of oiliness and a crisp finish. Very good.
