Drinking considerably better than the 1996. Very mature and full bodied, fruit still just about there. Good with pork. Definitely on the wane but not completely past it.

(Jadot Louis Beaune Grèves La Clos Blanc) Medium yellow colour. The nose is high toned and just a little understated - the palate is anything but; it’s full-packed, concentrated and ripe. Deep and creamy length. The acidity is relatively low but the power and delivery are impressive.
