50% Merlot, 20% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon The wine finishes for 10 months in a combination of second, third and fourth-year barrique, and about 30% of the total goes into cement.
This vintage does a terrific balancing act with dark fruit and concentration on the one hand and an accessible easy-drinking personality on the other. Black fruit cedes to baked brioche, spice and toasted aniseed.
Way over delivers with a strong bouquet of raspberries and currants, cassis and some tobacco. Juicy and full-bodied, the wine has nice tannin and good acidity. The finish is polished and fresh. It smells like tobacco. The wine finishes long.

Yummy red blend from a well-known Bolgheri producer - whose top wines are much more expensive! 50% Merlot, 20% Syrah, 15% each CS and CF. It's young and will probably age well for a decade, but bought as a PnP. Decanted and served with steak and Guinness stew. Food and the decant smoothed it out nicely. A delicious pairing!

all mellowed with good density, can't believe it's actually quite young. pine nuts and some dry rose and herbals, moderate palate, smooth and super fine tannins, medium body with solid weight. elegant m+ finish.
a very comfortable table wine to any kind of food. excellent on fineness. The texture reminds me red bean paste soup, a Chinese traditional dessert. Very enjoyable now.

Bolgheri 2020 Anteprima (67 Pall Mall, London): Merlot, cab franc, cab sav, syrah. Expected not to like this based on previous experiences, but I was won over. Very well put-together despite having a lot of tannin & structure.

Mostly black fruit with herbs. Needed a little time for reduction but lost its nose quite soon.
