During PNV week, Sub-AVA tasting at Round Pond. Most of my experience with Rombauer has been Chardonnay and Zin, limited with Cabs.
Rich purple color. Jammy black fruit, spice box, coffee. Rich mouthfeel, long finish. Good fruit source, should improve with a few years of bottle age...nice wine

The wine pours a dark garnet color with very appealing black and red fruits, tobacco, nutmeg, and violet aromas. On palate it's medium-bodied, fresh and harmonious with well integrated polished tannins. It shows cassis, blackberry, black cherry, licorice and vanilla flavors and a long satisfying finish.

Earthy, cassis, plum and current. Great Cab for me.
