Mer rød enn orange og en ganske tilbakeholden duft av jordbær, moden aprikos og blodappelsin. Strukturert og fyldig smak som matcher duft - moderat syre og god lengde. Nydelig!

Pale red colour in the glass. Ripe red berries with a whiff of smoke on the nose. Medium bodied, dry, rather crisp, delivering ripe and juicy red berries (strawberry and lingonberriy) with a discreet smoky aspect and smooth, firm acidity. Came to think of a gamay or pinot noir red. Very characterful for a Pinot Gris and quite delicious.

Clear light watermelon colored, perhaps the deepest PG I have encountered from skin contact Rather smoky but otherwise clean and juicy blood orange with a bone dry finish, but avoiding any austerity. Nice stuff

100% Pinot Gris made in an extended maceration style. Unfined and unfiltered, it is a unique medium pink with an orange hue. Unfortunately, the nose at first has an overwhelming dose of that South African campfire smokiness which detracts from the subtle strawberry, blood orange, peach, melon, and dried rose aromas. Dry, with med acidity and med (-) alcohol (11.5%). Med body, with med flavor intensity and med length. It was considerably better on the second day as some of that Pinotage-like burnt hatch chili pepper note blew off. Give it some time. Questionable QPR.
